The (re)Birth of That Virtual Life: My Journey from Struggles to Success

For as long as I can remember, I've carried a dream—a vision of a life filled with freedom, luxury, and the ability to work from anywhere in the world. This dream wasn't just about escaping the traditional nine-to-five; it was about living life on my own terms, embracing the beauty of new experiences, and creating a lifestyle that aligned with my deepest desires.

But the road to this dream was anything but smooth.

I grew up in a challenging environment, where uncertainty and adversity were constant companions. As I moved into adulthood, I made choices that, in hindsight, weren’t always the best. These decisions led to years of struggle, where my path seemed unclear, and my dreams felt like distant, unattainable goals. However, through all the ups and downs, one thing remained unwavering: my desire to create the life I knew I was meant to live.

When the opportunity to take over CVA (Canada's Virtual Assistant) crossed my desk, I felt something spark within me. It was as if the universe had aligned, presenting me with a chance to turn my dreams into reality. As I dove into the business, I quickly realized that CVA held not just one but two distinct visions—two opportunities for creativity, growth, and impact. This realization was the catalyst for what would become the (re)birth of That Virtual Life (TVL).

TVL wasn’t just a business strategy; it was my calling. I knew I had to separate it from CVA to fully tap into its potential. The process of crafting this new brand, building a website, and planning how to help others achieve their own dreams has been nothing short of incredible. It's been a journey of rediscovering my energy and ambition, even after years of burnout.

TVL is more than just a virtual assistant mentorship and training business. It's the culmination of my life’s lessons, my dreams, and my passion for helping others. It’s about empowering individuals to take the leap into the virtual world, to embrace their potential, and to live a life of luxury and fulfillment. It’s about providing value through the knowledge and resources I’ve accumulated over the years—resources that, admittedly, came from many lessons learned the hard way.

As I look forward to the future, TVL represents not just a business but my legacy. It’s my chance to create a life that aligns with the dreams of my younger self, to build something meaningful for my family, and to finally transition from my corporate job to a life where I’m fully pursuing my passion.
